Walking slowly through the woods, this bird dived through the trees in front of me and snared an unfortunate pigeon. So intent was it in consuming its prey that it allowed me close enough for some photographs.
Pantaloons 1 & 2 were created as a pair from photos of the same bird.
The paper was a large A1 sheet that had already been created but not used. Ink had been dropped onto wet paper and allowed to dry. I then used the reverse which gave me the right textures and colours, Additional ink was applied for the pigeon and blown around whilst wet to create the impression of feathers flying everywhere.
