After a visit to South Africa, I created a painting from a photo I took. However, sometimes you can work on something but no matter how hard you try you still can't get it right and so it was with this painting. The only reason it didn't end in the bin is I'm too stubborn to give up on something.

Anyway it got put away, with me thinking I would come back to it sometime, which I did some years later!

A combination of water blasted from the shower, bleach, a scrubbing brush, and attaching extra paper resulted in a painting I was finally happy with!
