As the name suggests, a series of paintings focusing on the beak, eyes and patterns of these birds.
Up Close and Personal 7 & 8 were created as a pair at a later date to the rest of the series and were created as a pair.
The paper was a large sheet that had already been created but not used. Ink had been dropped onto wet paper and allowed to dry. Some candle wax resist created further interesting texture
